This project began the day of my sisters death, hours before I found out through social media. I felt an unignorable desire the create music; I lined up my tracks, pressed record and improvised the track "Butch Queens". I knew she would have loved it. The next morning I got the news of her death. The day of her funeral, I couldn't be there. It was almost 1,000 miles away in Mississippi and I didn't want my last memory of her face to be lifeless. Instead, the night of her burial, I created "SXY TS" as a manic love letter of a sweat dripped fairy-tale. The days felt like weeks and coming to terms with the loss of my sister was impossible. Every sound and whisper carried memories of her breath. I spent days worth of hours by the water, walked for miles, and thought of how I would continue a life full of color. Thus, "Nefertiti (3TG II)" was born; opening with the sounds of cicadas by the Mississippi River and a revamp of 3 Transgoddesses.
